MSP360 (CloudBerry)
MSP360 (formerly CloudBerry) Backup is a popular cross-platform backup tool with first-class support for S3-compatible storage.
Add Filebase as a storage destination
- Open MSP360 Backup → Settings → Storage Accounts → Add new storage account.
- Pick S3 Compatible.
- Fill in:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Display name | Filebase |
| Service point | s3.filebase.io |
| Access key | Your Filebase access key |
| Secret key | Your Filebase secret key |
| Region | auto |
| Use SSL | ✓ |
| Use path-style URLs | ✓ |
- Click OK. MSP360 verifies the connection and lists your buckets.
Create a backup plan
- Files → Create new backup plan.
- Pick the Filebase storage account as the destination.
- Choose the bucket (or create a new one).
- Configure source folders, schedule, retention, and encryption (always enable client-side encryption).
- Run the first backup.
Image-based backups
For full-system image backups, MSP360 also supports the Disk image backup plan type, with the same Filebase configuration as the destination.
Restoration
MSP360's restore wizard pulls only the files (or image regions) you select — Filebase's free egress keeps restores cheap.
